Bijaya Lama is widely recognized as one of Nepal’s most renowned singers, celebrated for his immense contributions to the Nepali music genre. His influence reaches far beyond the borders of Nepal; he is known worldwide for his energetic performances at events where the global Nepalese diaspora deeply connects with his art.
He has gifted the music world with timeless hits such as "Roshi Khola Pari," "Boli Farke Aauchu Aaudina," "Rin Kati Rumal," and "Eh Kanchi." Additionally, he has preserved his cultural roots with iconic Tamang songs like "Koi Sem Bhiba" and "Churse Tui Tui."
For decades, his voice has brought joy to listeners and preserved the rich cultural tapestry of Nepal. However, beyond the stage and the applause, Bijaya Lama carries a vision that extends far beyond music—a vision of a society where no one is left behind.
Driven by a deep sense of responsibility towards his community, Bijaya established the Yangjeen Sangey Foundation in loving memory of Late Yangjeen Lama and Late Sangey Rinzin Lama. Honoring their legacy of kindness, he has transitioned from a cultural ambassador to a dedicated social guardian.

Keeping learning alive for children in remote areas throughscholarships, school supplies, and digital literacy programs, ensuring that financial hardship never stands in the way of a child’s future.
Mobilizing rapid support during national crises by providing food, shelter, and medical essentials to families affecting by natural disasters.
Strengthening the roots of society by providing access tosafe water, sanitation, and hygiene, alongside livelihood support initiatives to foster self-reliance.
Today, Bijaya Lama leverages his artistic platform not just to entertain, but to advocate. Through charity concerts and cultural programs, he mobilizes resources and raises awareness, proving that art can be a powerful vehicle for social transformation.
