Yangjeen Sangey Foundation is a Nepal-based nonprofit created in loving memory of Late Yangjeen Lama and Late Sangey Rinzin Lama. We turn compassion into action by supporting vulnerable communities across Nepal with dignity, respect, and accountability.
Our work is community-led and practical. We support women’s health and dignity (including Patheghar awareness and referral support), youth counselling and recovery pathways, care for elderly people who need essentials and companionship, and additional programs that respond to real needs—support for orphanage and foster children, education support for remote-area schools, heritage and community projects such as temples/gumbas/statue work, and emergency relief during disasters.

In Nepal, many people face hardship quietly—children who need stable care and support, women living with preventable health challenges, youth struggling with addiction and stigma, families living far from services, and elderly individuals left without consistent support.
